I don’t give five stars often but tonight was a great one. Being pregnant can restrict your options when it comes to 3 or 5 course menus and it has been challenging at times. But not tonight! From our arrival to the food selection, everything was great! The service was super helpful, friendly and efficient. The food was great and I even found a new delicious tea by their suggestion. And the view I will definitely be back. Thanks for the lovely night.

I’ve never given an all 5 star review for a restaurant, but the Pointe Restaurant hits the mark on all levels. From its gorgeous ocean views, the presentation of the plates, quality and taste of the food, the professionalism and food explanation from the staff. We were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. My wife and I have had the pleasure of fine dining in many establishments from, Ontario, Quebec, Paris (Jules Verne at Eiffel Tower) and the Pointe Restaurant is very much comparable to a Michelin Star type restaurant. If this place isn’t ranked as a Michelin Star restaurant, it definitely should be aiming to do so.

We went to The Pointe to celebrate my birthday and I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. From the moment you walk in, it’s hard not to love The Pointe. The views are incredible and the restaurant itself is very lovely as well. We had the fix course dinner and every dish was unique in flavours with incredible attention to detail. The service is amazing- They even go above and beyond to ensure you feel special on your birthday. It truly is a wonderful dinner experience. We loved it so much we returned the following day for a casual lunch, which was equally as good. Whether you’re looking for a five star fine dining dinner experience, or a casual burger lunch, I highly recommend The Pointe.

A standout moment of the evening was the custom-printed menu, elegantly placed at our table, reading: "Happy 10th Anniversary Christian and Patricia." This thoughtful detail set the tone for what would be an extraordinary dining experience. We were fortunate to be served by an exceptional team: - Loretta, our server, provided attentive and seamless service, ensuring each course was presented flawlessly. - Jacob, the bartender, took my husband on an exploration of fine scotches, discussing their origins, unique notes, and sourcing with genuine enthusiasm. - Pablo, the sommelier, assisted us in selecting the perfect wine. We were thrilled to see our favorite wines on the menu and, with his expert guidance, ultimately chose a favorite that complemented our meal beautifully. - Mustafa, the Assistant Restaurant Manager, ensured that our experience was nothing short of perfection, making us feel like truly valued guests. Each dish was a work of art, thoughtfully crafted and bursting with flavor. The pacing was impeccable, allowing us to fully appreciate every bite without feeling rushed. We were incredibly impressed with the menu—Executive Chef Clayton Fontaine has definitely echoed his talent in all the dishes provided, showcasing creativity and precision in every plate. One of the highlights of the evening was an exclusive tour of the restaurant’s wine cellar. The vast collection was nothing short of awe-inspiring, and learning about their carefully curated selections only deepened our appreciation for the thoughtfulness behind their offerings. What truly set this experience apart was the ability of the staff to create an elevated dining experience while maintaining an inviting and approachable atmosphere. We never felt out of place or overwhelmed by the upscale nature of the restaurant—something that can often be a challenge in fine dining settings. Instead, we were treated with warmth, grace, and genuine hospitality. Every member of the staff impressed us with their incredible attitudes, adding to an already exceptional experience. While our five-course meal, wine selection, and additional add-ons came at a price, every single cent was justified by the quality, service, and attention to detail. This was an experience we would eagerly relive. This restaurant has earned a well-deserved spot on my list of must-visit places in Tofino. We visited The Pointe restaurant 3 times during our 4-night stay at The Wickaninnish Inn. From the dinner to the breakfast options, the food and service is amazing. The ambience coupled with the view made each visit memorable, especially on a clear sunny day. Recommend making reservations for dinner as they fill up very fast. If you are in Tofino and looking for a luxe dining experience, you must visit The Pointe!

Went here for brunch on Tuesday, and the staff was very welcoming. Sally was an amazing server! The food was delicious, and the ambience was fantastic. Overall, it was a great experience. I’d love to come back next time!

The food was incredible, the service was amazing and the view was stunning... The staff at The Pointe made my proposal absolutely perfect! I can't wait to come back and it was a highlight of the trip. I would recommend to visit this restaurant, proposal or not!

The Pointe Restaurant at the Wickaninnish Inn. Featuring exquisite views from the point overlooking the bay, with crashing waves and a sprawling beach at low tide. The decor inside evokes the Tofino-centric log cabin feel which does an excellent job of feeling homely and fancy at the same time, with several custom carvings and tables inside the restaurant. I didn't get a chance to visit during dinner, but I was thoroughly impressed by the brunch menu which featured some of the best egg Benny's I've tasted. The atmosphere is an experience in of itself and a must see during one's visit to the Tofino area. Service was attentive, friendly and informative and a definite plus. I will most definitely make a point of coming back when I return to the area!
